About the school
Abu Dhabi Grammar School was founded by Mrs. Fatima Asaad and obtained a license from the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates on October 1, 1994. The school moved to its current location in January 2008. The school currently has over 1,000 students from 50 different nationalities enrolled, and is accredited by the Nova Scotia Department of Education, Canada, as a private institution operating in the United Arab Emirates.
Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada) fulfills its obligations to the Nova Scotia Department of Education, as well as the UAE Ministry of Education. It offers a comprehensive, enriching, and challenging program for approximately 1,000 students from preschool through Grade 12. The curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12 is taught entirely in English, except for French language, Arabic language, and Islamic Studies courses for Muslim students.

To apply to Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada), students must submit the following:
- Complete application form (7 pages).
- Academic recommendation form (to be completed by the previous school).
- Valid copy of the student's UAE Emirates ID (front and back).
- Valid copy of the student's passport.
- Student's most recent report card.
- Student's final report card (previous academic year).
- High school students must provide a certified and stamped transcript from their last school.
- Enrollment letter from the student's current school/nursery including eSIS number (for students within the UAE).
- A recent (within the past six months) colored passport-size photograph of the student.
Please provide valid colored copies of all required documents. All documents must be in PDF format except for the photograph.
Once all the above documents are prepared and sent to the school's email, the application will be reviewed, and if accepted and seats are available, you will be contacted to conduct an interview and assessment.
It is preferable to contact the school administration directly to obtain accurate information about the payment and settlement process, as the school provides many facilities for parents on an ongoing basis.
Preschool Stage
Children enjoy a creative curriculum, and from the age of four, they begin specialized lessons in Arabic, music, and physical education. When children transition from KG1 to KG2, they build strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics while fostering a love of learning.
Elementary Stage
Elementary grades include: English Language Arts (speaking and listening, reading and writing, viewing and other representation methods), Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science, taught by qualified teachers holding Canadian teaching licenses. Visual arts instruction is integrated into the curriculum. Specialized teachers teach Arabic, Islamic Education, Physical Education, and French. (French is a mandatory program from Grade 4 to Grade 9).
Middle School
We take pride in our diverse and strong curriculum, which includes Physical Education, French, Arabic, Technology, and Arts.
High School

Among the awards the school has recently received:
- One of the school's students achieved first place in the "Silver F Category" recreational adult category for girls. The sixth edition of the EduSport Cup for figure skating competitions was held in Bucharest, Romania.
- A Grade 11 student at the Canadian school won the silver medal in the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
- Grade 5 student Maria Laura won the gold medal in the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
- One of the school's Grade 6 students won first place in the UAE Tennis Federation Championship for under 14 years old, which was held at Zayed Sports City.
- For the first time in AGS school history, Grade 9 student Marta Ibragimova achieved a rare performance. She participated in the Super Sprint Duathlon race organized by Gulf Multi Sport and won first place.
