Al Khalil International Private School is committed to the principles of equality, justice, and transparency in the student admission process, based on the Abu Dhabi Department of Education policy.
Accepted Age Groups
The school accepts students from kindergarten through grade twelve, provided the student has reached the required age on or before December 31 of the academic year:
- KG1: 4 years
- KG2: 5 years
- Grade 1: 6 years
The school also accepts students with special educational needs (mild to moderate cases) and students with chronic health conditions.
Registration Procedures
Registration can be done at the school premises directly or through the website alkhalilschools.com. Registration fees are 500 dirhams (non-refundable, deducted from the first installment). Parents are allowed to visit the school before registration with a guide from the admission committee.
Compulsory education stage (from grade one onwards) requires a personal interview and a placement test in core subjects to provide appropriate educational support.
Required Documents
After passing the interview and test, the following documents must be submitted:
Identity Documents:
- Copy of student's passport, residence visa, and ID card.
- Copy of father's (sponsor's) passport, residence visa, and ID card.
- Birth certificate certified by relevant authorities.
- Copy of vaccination card.
- 4 personal photos (4×6 cm, white background).
- Proof of residential address.
Academic Documents (for transfers):
- School leaving certificate or certified transfer certificate.
- Academic certificate and last certified report card.
- Financial clearance letter from previous school.
- Student file from previous school.
All documents must be copied on CD in JPG format.
Admission Priorities
When places are available, priority is given according to the following order:
- Students previously enrolled at the school.
- Those who have siblings at the school.
- Children of school employees.
- Those with high grades.
- Those close to the school's residential area.
In case of unavailability of seats, the application is placed on a waiting list.
Tuition fees are paid either in full upon admission, or in three installments distributed over the academic year. Fees are paid in cash or by check payable to Al Khalil International Private School.
