About the school
Diyafah International School builds upon the legacy of Diyafah High School in Dubai, which extends over 40 years and was founded in 1982 by Mrs. Winnie Deconha.
The school started as a nursery for children in a small villa on Diyafah Street in Dubai, then moved to its current location in 2001, where it is located on Abu Dhabi Island in Mohamed Bin Zayed City. It provides high-quality education at affordable prices and has become home to more than 1,600 students from different nationalities.

The school accepts students of all nationalities permitted to enroll in schools following the British curriculum in Abu Dhabi, in accordance with UAE Ministry of Education guidelines.
All those wishing to enroll in the school must register electronically through its website.
Parents can visit the school and meet with the admissions officer who will guide them and help them complete registration procedures.
The final decision regarding admission depends on age criteria, test results (for Grade 2 and above), personal interview, and seat availability.
Age requirements for admission to each age category will be fully compatible with Ministry of Education requirements.
All Foundation Stage students must be fully potty trained before starting school.
Admission is only confirmed upon payment of registration fees.
When applying to enroll in the Special Educational Needs program, supporting documents must be uploaded, including any external assessments or reports related to special educational needs, with electronic registration.
Age is calculated as of August 31 of the relevant admission year.
The application is submitted online, with the following documents attached:
- Passport copy of the student and both parents.
- Copy of the student's birth certificate.
- Copy of the UAE ID card of the student and parent.
- 1 recent passport-size photograph of the student with a white background
- Copy of the immunization record.
- Transfer certificate from the last school with the required attestation.
- Most recent school report card.
Upon confirmation of the school admission application, a registration fee of 5% of the school fees is charged (non-refundable).
Parents are also required to pay school fees via electronic bank transfer and issue post-dated checks when school resumes.
In case of cancellation of registration, fees are refunded according to Ministry of Education guidelines.
The school offers advanced educational programs according to the British International Curriculum.
