Admission Requirements for Dubai College:
Dubai College requires students in grades 6-9 to pass a placement test to gain admission to the school. Tests are held in November for students applying for the upcoming academic year.
These exams are conducted at Dubai College for applicants residing in the United Arab Emirates. For foreign students, the school sends assessment papers to their current school to supervise, evaluate, and return them to Dubai College.
The student applying for grade 6 at Dubai College should be 11 years old and have completed their academic year for grade 5 by September 1st. Applicants who have not reached 11 years before the start of the academic year will not be accepted.
Younger applicants who turn 11 before the end of the year will not be accepted. The same conditions mentioned above apply to students applying for grades 7-9.
Students or parents applying for admission to the school should fill out the electronic admission application form available on the official Dubai College website.

Almost all students choose to study 4 A-Level subjects at the beginning of year 12. The majority of students drop one of their subjects by the time they begin year 13.
A-Level subjects offered include: Art and Design, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design and Technology, Drama and Theatre Studies, Economics, English Literature, Extended Project, French Language, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Latin, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Politics, Psychology, and Spanish.
All secondary stage students also participate in the Positive Education program aimed at preparing them to face life's challenges after Dubai College. Classes are allocated within the "Outstanding University Preparation" program in a variety of academic subjects during grades 12 and 13, with the aim of bridging the knowledge gap between high school and university.
