• A doctor visits weekly for routine checkups. Their doctor also monitors children's health and physical development
• All staff are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR

Illness

The nursery requests parents/guardians not to bring their children if they show any of the following symptoms:

• Fever with other symptoms such as rash, vomiting, ear pain, irritability, or confusion. Diarrhea (loose, watery, or bloody stool)
• Vomiting (twice or more)
• Skin rash accompanied by fever
• Sore throat with fever and swollen glands
• Severe cough
• Abnormal discharge from the eye
• Yellowing of skin or eyes

If a child is absent due to a contagious illness, a medical certificate must be provided proving they are free of the disease on their first day back to the nursery.

Medication

Children are given liquid paracetamol, which is administered if the child's temperature rises. The nursery will always seek to contact parents before giving liquid paracetamol to the child.

Also, if parents wish to give their child specific medication while the child is at the nursery, the following procedures must be followed:

• Parents must complete a written consent form, available at the administration office
• Medications must be kept in their original packaging
• The package must bear the following information: child's name, dosage, and expiration date
• Medication will be administered by their internal nurse, according to directions on the label or by a licensed physician

Transportation

• Buses are specially designed with safety features
• Special seats are used suitable for children's ages
• Parents of infants wishing to use their transportation service must provide a special car seat that meets their children's needs
• Drivers undergo intensive training
