GEMS Modern Academy was established on October 18, 1986, and has since solidified its position as one of the leading educational institutions offering a pioneering educational vision that is hard to compete with. The academy is distinguished by its authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the Diploma Programme since 2014 and the Primary Years Programme since 2021. It also received candidate status for the Middle Years Programme in August 2021.
