GEMS Winchester School was established in 2011, and the school includes all educational stages starting from the first foundation stage until the thirteenth year, providing comprehensive education at the school.

- GEMS Winchester School accepts children from age 3 years to join the first foundation stage, from age 4 years to join the second foundation stage, from age 5 years to join the first year, and from age 6 years to join the second year.
- Application is submitted online.
- A message is sent via registered email containing your inquiry number.
- Pay the application fees and bring the following documents to complete the registration process:
- Completed admission forms.
- Two clear copies of the student's passport/mother's passport if the child's name is listed in the mother's passport. (Passport must be valid for at least six months).
- Two copies of residence visa valid for at least six months.
- Two copies of valid UAE identity card for the student and parents.
- Two copies of the student's birth certificate.
- Four passport-sized photos of the student.
- A photocopy of the student's vaccination record.
- For grades two to thirteen: A copy of the original grade transcript for the final exam (school report card) for the past two years.
- For years 2 to 13: Original transfer certificate/school leaving certificate from the previous school in case of transfer from another emirate, properly attested by the educational authority. {Required before joining school in September}
- In case of transfer from abroad, the transfer certificate must also be properly attested by:
- Ministry of Education in the country from which the student comes.
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which the student comes.
- UAE Embassy in the country from which the student comes.
- The school will contact you to schedule an interview and assessment test.
- The child must be brought at the scheduled appointment for the interview or assessment.
- After completing the interview or assessment test, the school will contact you if a place is available for your child.
- You must bring the attested transfer certificate for your child.
