    Heartland International School - Dubai welcomes admission applications for children of all nationalities and ability levels.

    Places may not be available in some grades, in which case the application will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available.

    Application Steps: Please complete the application form using a desktop, laptop, or tablet and upload the required documents, avoiding the use of mobile phones.

    Required Documents Upon Application: Copy of the child's birth certificate, passport, visa and Emirates ID (both sides), copies of passports, visas, and ID cards for both parents, passport-size photo (two original copies will be requested later), previous school/nursery reports (applications from Grade 2 and above will not be reviewed without them), and vaccination record.

    If you are new to Dubai and your visa has not been issued yet, we can accept the application temporarily provided that copies are submitted after the visa and ID card are issued.

    Documents Required Later: Medical form and consent form.

    Transfer Certificate from Previous School:

    • Local transfers/within Dubai: Please provide a departure certificate authenticated by KHDA through the Arabic school secretary before starting school.
    • Transfers from abroad or other emirates: The certificate requires certain attestations according to KHDA requirements for Grade 3 and above.

    Child Assessment: The child will be invited for an assessment that includes age-appropriate activities to better understand their abilities.

    Application fee: AED 525, payable before or on the day of assessment.

    Assessment within Dubai is usually with a small group, while outside the UAE it is coordinated with the child's current school.

    After the assessment, the educational team will review the results and confirm the possibility of accepting the child as soon as possible.

    After Issuing the Offer Letter: To confirm the child's acceptance, please sign and return the acceptance agreement within 7 days and pay the acceptance fee of 10% of the annual fees, ensuring all required documents are submitted.

    Students Who Need Support in English: Any student who needs to learn English will undergo an additional assessment to determine language level and required support, and places are currently limited.

    Students with Special Educational Needs: The school follows Federal Law 29 (2006) and the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework 2017.

    New applicants are referred to the head of the inclusion team, who will request medical reports, psychological reports, school reports, and Individual Learning Plan (ILP) if available. After review, a meeting is held with parents, observation and assessment are arranged, then the team issues its final recommendations to parents.
