About the school

Montessori Children's Garden Nursery is a specialized educational institution purposefully designed to honor and follow the life's work of Dr. Maria Montessori, who developed an educational philosophy that puts the child at its heart. The nursery provides a home-like environment where children are nurtured and guided according to each child's unique potential, using Montessori materials and furniture certified by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and designed and manufactured by Nienhuis and Gonzagarredi.

Admission Criteria:

  1. Age: The child must be more than one day old and less than 4 years old at the time of registration.
  2. Admission Policy:
  • The nursery follows an inclusive and non-discriminatory admission policy.
  • Accepts all children regardless of nationality, ability, or religion.
  • Complies with Federal Law No. (29) of 2006 concerning the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
  • Does not refuse admission to children who do not have vaccinations.
  1. Admission Priority: Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. Admission of Children with Additional Learning Needs:
  • The nursery director assesses how to accommodate the child's needs.
  • If unable to accommodate the child, a notification is sent to ADEK with required evidence and documentation.

  • Copies of Emirates ID.
  • Current and valid passport of the child and parents.
  • Child's and parents' visa.
  • Child's birth certificate.
  • Passport-sized photographs.
  • Child's vaccination records.
  • Completed and signed health documents.
  • Documents for children with additional learning needs (if necessary) such as previous assessments and Individual Education Plans.

  • Age Group: 8 weeks to 18 months.
  • Program Description:
    • The word "Nido" is derived from an Italian word meaning "nest."
    • Provides a comfortable home-like environment for children where they feel loved and secure.
    • Comfortable, warm, and attractive rooms with a calm atmosphere.

2. Infant Community Program

  • Age Group: From walking to 3 years old
  • Program Description:
    • Introducing children to social life outside the family framework.

  • During the first week, all children are monitored and evaluated.
  • Parents are asked to keep the child at home if sick.
  • The nursery applies minimum exclusion periods for some infectious diseases.

  • The pick-up person must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
  • The identity of the pick-up person is verified before handing over the child.
  • The child is not allowed to be handed over to anyone not listed on the authorization form.
