Passing the entrance exam at Pakistan School Ajman (PSA):
An entrance test is conducted covering English, Mathematics, and Urdu. After the test, an interview is conducted. Admission depends on the student’s performance in the test and interview, along with previous school report cards and the availability of a vacant seat. It is important to note that passing the test does not guarantee automatic admission; the decision depends on several factors.
Required Documents for Registration:
When applying, the following certified and clear copies of documents must be brought:
- Health examination form for students in Kindergarten – FS 1, FS 2, and Grade 1 only.
- Personal photos of the student.
- Birth certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (front and back copy).
- Vaccination card / school medical file (for FS 1, FS 2, and Grade 1).
- A copy of the student’s passport with the valid visa page.
- A copy of the Emirates ID for the student.
- Result or report card from the previous school.
- If the student is coming from Pakistan: School Leaving Certificate, certified according to the required procedures.
Special Conditions for Students Coming from Pakistan or Schools Within the UAE:
- If the student is transferring from Pakistan: Documents (School Leaving Certificate, report card) must be certified by the relevant authorities in Pakistan (such as the local education office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE embassy in Pakistan).
- If the student is transferring from a school within the UAE: An original transfer certificate certified by the education zone in the relevant emirate is required, along with a report card.
- A copy of the father’s passport, visa page, Emirates ID, and parent’s certificate is also required for admission of children coming from within the UAE.
Age Criteria for Admission by Grade:
PSA sets a specific age for admission in each grade from KG1 to Grade 12:
- KG 1: 4 years to 4 years, 11 months, and 29 days until March 31 of the enrollment year.
- KG 2: 5 years to 5 years, 11 months, and 29 days until March 31 of the enrollment year.
- Grade 1: 6–8 years.
- Grade 2: 7–9 years.
- And so on according to the official schedule up to Grade 12.
