About the school

Summit International Schools is one of the educational institutions in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It adopts academic programs based on the American Curriculum and is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education.

It was inaugurated in August 2013. It initially followed the American Curriculum programs under the supervision of Virginia state standards, then later transitioned to aligning with the Advanced Track standards of the UAE Ministry of Education in addition to California state standards. The school prepares students not only for graduation but also for university studies.

Kindergarten:

An informal assessment/interview will be conducted with the new child in the Summit International Schools system to evaluate their suitability and readiness to start school.

Registration Procedures:

  • Step One: Inquiry. During the tour, a school representative will show you the facilities, highlighting the areas of interest to you and your children.
  • The school answers your inquiries regarding required documents, including age/grade level, tuition fee structure, policies, and others.
  • You will be issued a school booklet, tuition fees, age requirements, and required admission documents. You can also download these forms online.
  • Application Submission: Parents must fill out the admission application form.
  • Once a vacant seat is available from the waiting list, the Admissions team will contact the parents to bring their children in for an assessment/interview.

Required Documents:

  • Student Documents:
    • Registration application form.
    • 3 passport-sized photos of the student (black background).
    • Copy of the student’s passport.
    • Copy of the student’s valid residency visa.
    • Birth Certificate (attested).
    • Copy of the vaccination card.
    • Student Health Registration Form (from the school / Health Record).
    • Copy of the student’s Emirates ID (both sides).
  • Parents’ Documents:
    • Copy of the father’s passport and residency visa.
    • Copy of the mother’s passport and residency visa.
    • One personal photo for both the father and the mother.
  • Academic Transfer and Residence Proof:
    • End-of-year report for the current academic year.
    • Transfer Letter / Student Transition Certificate (if coming from outside the ADEK region).
    • Electricity bill for the residence address (to prove residency).
    • Important Note: Please ensure copies of all the above-mentioned documents are brought to facilitate the registration process.

Tuition Fee Discounts (for Grade 1 and above):

  • Per Student (Grade 1 and above): 7% discount on tuition fees.
  • Single Payment Discount: An additional 2% discount on tuition fees for a one-time payment.
