The English Private School (Umm Al Quwain) was established in May 1983 with a small number of students and teachers in the northern Emirate of Umm Al Quwain in the United Arab Emirates. It is an international school operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and offers the Indian curriculum.
The school has significantly contributed to meeting the educational needs of foreign residents and the local community in Umm Al Quwain. The school moved to its current location in 2009 and has complete facilities and infrastructure in a safe environment.

Children wishing to enroll in The English Private School (Umm Al Quwain) must complete the following procedures:
Age must be four years by 31/03 - for KG 1, five years by 31/03 - for KG 2 (admission test or completion certificate), and six years by 31/03 - for Grade 1 (admission test or training certificate).
Required documents to be submitted are:
- Passport-size photographs (4 photos), postage stamp-size photos (2 photos).
- Copy of the child's and parents' passport with valid visa page (2 copies).
- Emirates ID card (2 copies).
- Birth certificate (2 copies).
- Copy of vaccination card (2 copies).
- Copy of parents' work permit card (UAE) for students (2 copies).
- Health card from the previous school.
It is the parents' responsibility to ensure all documents are submitted before the student begins studying.
The academic year at The English Private School (Umm Al Quwain) is divided into three terms - from April to June, from September to December, and from January to March.
Academic year fees can be paid on a term basis (three terms), except for kindergarten and Grade1
The English Private School (Umm Al Quwain) offers distinguished educational programs for each grade level as follows:
- KG 1 and KG 2: English Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Arts and Crafts, Music and Games (Special Arabic and Special Islamic Education for Arab students).
- Grades: 1 to 8: English Language, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Hindi Language/General Knowledge, (Malayalam from Grade 1 to 5), Arabic Language/Special Arabic, Moral Education/Islamic Studies/Special Islamic Studies, Information Technology, Arts, Crafts, Games.
- Grades: 9 and 10: English Language, Hindi/Arabic Language, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Social Science, Information Technology, General Knowledge, Islamic Studies.
