About the school
The Philippine School was established in 2014 and began its distinguished educational journey in July of the same year. The school received its official accreditation from the Ministry of Education in Manila, Philippines in March 2016, and obtained a license from the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, receiving a temporary license in September 2016, followed by a permanent license in September 2017.
The school is located in Bani Yas East 7 area in Abu Dhabi and is committed to its ambitious vision of "Leading in Academic Excellence and Values Formation." The school offers a comprehensive educational program from kindergarten through grade 12, based on the Filipino curriculum with the addition of subjects that comply with the national requirements of the United Arab Emirates.
Students of The Philippine School are distinguished by their active participation in international and local competitions, having achieved numerous awards and recognitions in prestigious competitions such as the World Scholars Cup and various arts competitions. First: For Returning Students:
- Updated copy of visa, passport, and Emirates ID for both student and parents.
- Completed registration, health, student information, and bus forms.
Second: For New Students and Transferees from the Philippines and Other Countries:
For Kindergarten 1, Kindergarten 2, and Grade 1:
- Three (3) recent photos.
- Original Emirates ID (for student and parents).
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Vaccination card (child's booklet) or student health records.
- Copy of Emirates ID and passport with valid UAE residence visa (for student and sponsor).
- Completed registration, health, student information, and bus forms.
For Grades 2 to 12:
- Three (3) recent photos.
- Original Emirates ID (for student and parents).
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Latest report card (Form 138).
- Vaccination card (child's booklet) or student health records.
- Copy of Emirates ID and passport with valid UAE residence visa (for student and sponsor).
- Completed registration form, health data, student information sheet, and bus forms.
- Completed recommendation form.
- Copy of records (Form 137) authenticated by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and UAE Embassy in Manila.
Third: For Students Returning to TPS:
- Three (3) recent photos.
- Original progress report card from previous grade/level.
- Completed registration, health, student information, and bus forms.
Fourth: For Transfer Students (Students from Other Schools in UAE):
- Three (3) recent photos.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Good moral character certificate.
- Transfer certificate from previous school.
- Copy of records (Form 137) from previous school.
- Vaccination card (child's booklet) or student health records.
- Copy of passport with valid UAE residence visa (for student and sponsor).

Fifth: For Students with Special Educational Needs:
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Medical certificate for the child.
- Medical assessment (if they have medical history).
- Assessment results and other appropriate documents from a developmental pediatrician or medical specialist.
Students coming from non-Philippine schools must study Filipino language and Social Studies (Philippine history). Students transferring to Grade 12 from any other school must study all subjects they have not previously taken. The school principal or academic director, through the vice principal for academic affairs, determines the tuition fees and subjects to be studied.

Stage One (KG 1 and KG 2):
Filipino language, English language, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Robotics (KG 2 only) based on the standards and competencies for five-year-old Filipino children set by the Ministry of Education.
These standards and competencies include: social and emotional development, values development, physical health and motor development, aesthetic development, mathematics, physical and natural environment, language, reading and writing, and communication. Furthermore, behavior and development checklists and anecdotal records are used to assess students' personal, social, and cognitive development.
Stage Two (Grades 1 to 6):
Filipino language, English language, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies in UAE, Araling Panlipunan, Practical Learning Time (Grades 1 and 2 only), Home Economics and Livelihood Education (Grades 4 to 6 only), Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health, Values Education, Moral Education, Information and Communication Technology, Robotics, Arabic for non-Arabs, and Islamic Education (for Muslim students only instead of Values Education).
Stage Three (Grades 7 to 10):
Filipino language, English language, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies in UAE, Araling Panlipunan, Technology and Livelihood Education, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health, Values Education, Moral Education, Information and Communication Technology, Robotics, Arabic for non-Arabs, and Islamic Education (for Muslim students only).
Stage Four (Grades 11 and 12):
All fifteen (15) core subjects and sixteen (16) subjects (seven applied subjects and nine specialized subjects) stipulated in the Senior High School curriculum of the Philippine Ministry of Education and the Moral Education prescribed in the UAE.
