روضة الصداقة للأطفال المكفوفين (FRIENDSHIP KINDERGARTEN FOR BLIND CHILDREN) is one of the leading initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, established in 1990-1991 as the first specialized center in the Arabian Gulf for rehabilitating and educating blind children between the ages of three and seven, under the supervision of the Friendship Society for the Blind. The kindergarten aims to empower blind children by teaching them the basics of Braille, developing their sensory and social skills, and preparing them to join public schools within the inclusive education system.

The kindergarten has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation, enhancing its ability to provide an advanced educational environment equipped with the latest assistive technologies. The kindergarten receives continuous support from the Ministry of Social Development, which emphasizes the importance of enhancing cooperation with civil associations to achieve development and integrate the visually impaired into society. The Society also honors the kindergarten teachers in appreciation of their efforts in providing specialized education for blind children, which contributes to effectively preparing them for subsequent educational stages.
