Hawar International Schools

About the school

Hawar International School was established in 2001 thanks to a select group of distinguished Bahraini professionals, with the aim of providing a bilingual educational environment from nursery and kindergarten through to the twelfth grade. Additionally, the school focuses on preserving the heritage and culture of the Kingdom of Bahrain, instilling Bahraini and Islamic values in students from the very beginning.

The school began implementing the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum in 2019 for the ninth grade. Hawar International School has also been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, making it consistently the first choice for parents seeking a bright future for their children.

We aim to be an inclusive community of self-motivated and reflective learners with high expectations and standards. We focus on achievement and encourage every child and adult in our community to achieve their best, academically and in all aspects of life, and to develop a love for inquiry and lifelong learning. We provide our students with thorough academic follow-up and supportive pastoral care. We follow a holistic approach to the child, focusing on balance and a healthy lifestyle, and encourage constructive and positive contribution and support from parents.

Hawar International School aspires to provide a balanced bilingual education to develop global citizens who are caring, curious, and open-minded, living in harmony within the culture and values of Islam and Bahrain.

We aim to raise lifelong learners capable of adapting to the needs of an ever-changing world. As an inclusive school, we continuously seek to build a community of young people who act with compassion, integrity, and respect for diversity, promoting equality, freedom, tolerance, and understanding.

Our comprehensive learning programs enable our students to succeed in various areas of their lives.
