Special Needs Programs: Due to the urgent need for special education services in the Sultanate of Oman, the Al Injaz Special Needs Department was established to meet the needs of students whose academic and developmental requirements cannot be met through the traditional educational system.

The department evaluates each student individually and prepares an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that takes into account the student's strengths and special abilities, utilizing them to enhance areas that need development. Specialized teachers work in close cooperation with parents to ensure comprehensive growth for children. The center also helps parents collaborate with other specialists such as doctors, counselors, and therapists to provide the best possible care for their students.

We believe in the importance and necessity of partnership with parents throughout the child's educational journey. Over the years, parents have expressed their satisfaction with the achievements their children have made.

The Special Needs Department includes a qualified, trained, and experienced team to achieve its goal of providing multidisciplinary services to students. The team consists of:

  • Special education specialists
  • Psychologist
  • Speech therapist
  • Occupational therapist
  • Physical therapist

Specialized teachers teach in both Arabic and English.

The department enjoys modern facilities specifically designed to develop students' abilities. Students are also integrated with their peers in general education in many activities. This integration helps develop them academically and socially, enhancing their confidence in interacting with society.
