About the school

Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir began its journey in 1987 in the Mutrah area of Muscat Governorate, and it relied on English as the language of instruction for students. The school was named after its location in the Al Wadi Al Kabir area.

It obtained composite affiliation up to the tenth grade in December 1992, then was upgraded to higher secondary level in 1999. It is managed by an association from the business community in Muscat through the Administrative Committee of the Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir.

We provide an extremely high level of education that is broad in scope, yet specifically designed to meet the individual needs of the child. Student Registration in the Board of Directors Indian Schools Website (www.indianschoolsoman.com) Parents are required to register through this central website. Submit registration form (at any Indian school of your choice) Submit with a copy of the guardian's resident identity card and a copy of the identity card (for the student). Pay 15 Omani Rials and register at the concerned school. Submit admission form at the Indian School with all documents

Required Documents: Copy of passport. Copy of resident identity card (for student and guardian). Copy of student's birth certificate (certified and translated). Passport-sized personal photos (4 photos). Original transfer certificate and a copy of it. Original vaccination card and a copy of it.

Confirmation of admission through creating GR number The school office will create a GR number and assign the classroom to the student. After obtaining the GR number, fees can be paid.

Results announcement The result will be announced via email/phone/text messages.

Interaction/readiness test for admission The day and date will be determined via email/phone/text messages.

Fee payment After obtaining the GR number, parents can pay the fees. At the time of admission, 3 months' fees must be paid.

Admission voucher After paying the fees, the school office will issue an admission voucher to be handed over to the class teacher.

Purchasing books and stationery Books and stationery can be purchased from the book library in the secondary school campus.

Purchasing school uniform and shoes: School uniform and shoes are available at Lakhos and Trends on Ruwi Main Street. Age criteria for KG1: A child who has completed 3 years and 6 months on March 31 is only eligible for admission to KG1. Age criteria for KG: A child who has completed 2 years and 6 months on March 31 is only eligible for admission to KG.
