Please follow the instructions below to begin the registration process for your child/children:

Step One

Requirements before official registration begins:

• Your child's birth certificate (original + copy)
• Recent school certificate (original + copy)
• Note: Only learners who achieved a grade (B) in the entrance exam will be considered for registration
• A non-refundable fee of twenty (20) Omani Rials is collected for the entrance exam

Step Two

Entrance exam protocol:

• Parents complete the initial registration form
• Parents must wait in the designated waiting area while their child/children complete the entrance exam
• Parents are not allowed to enter the exam halls
• If your child completes the entrance exam and achieves a grade of at least (B), Step 3 must be completed within one week of being notified of your child's acceptance

Step Three

Official registration procedures:

• Four recent passport-sized photos
• Copy of the child's vaccination card and birth certificate
• Copy of the child's passport
• Copy of parent/guardian ID
• Copy of father and mother's passport
• Official transfer form from previous school
• Signed electronic registration form
• Non-refundable first installment of the first semester school fees + post-dated checks for the second and third installments
• Three post-dated checks for school fees
• Note: Student registration at MIS depends on completing the registration process

School fees are paid electronically. The school also provides multiple other payment methods, which you can learn about by contacting the school administration via email or calling their numbers.

Kindergarten Program

We provide programs that meet their individual needs. Our classrooms are equipped with furniture, equipment, and educational toys that help in comprehensive development and refining children's characteristics. We also provide parents with opportunities for active participation in their children's school life.

In KG1, we focus on developing language skills and personal relationships, as well as exploring our daily environment, developing our sensory skills, and refining our fine motor skills, in addition to core subjects in English, mathematics, and Arabic.

In KG2, the program focuses on core subjects such as reading and communication, English and Arabic, mathematics, and understanding the world, while continuing to establish Montessori principles in the classroom. Children receive specialized weekly classes in physical education, music, and ICT, in addition to daily Islamic classes.

Cambridge Primary Program

This is an educational program designed for young learners that combines a world-class curriculum, high-quality teacher support, and integrated assessment.

Cambridge Primary develops skills in English, mathematics, science, Cambridge Global Perspective, and ICT. The curriculum is characterized by its flexibility and clear educational objectives.

Cambridge Primary English enables learners to communicate confidently and effectively, and develop essential skills for interacting with a variety of information, media, and texts with understanding and enjoyment.

The mathematics curriculum framework explores five content areas: numbers, geometry, measurement, data handling, and problem solving. This curriculum focuses on principles, patterns, systems, functions, and relationships, enabling learners to apply their mathematical knowledge and develop comprehensive understanding of the subject.

The science framework covers four content areas: scientific inquiry, biology, chemistry, and physics. The curriculum also includes environmental awareness and some history of science.

Omani curricula for Arabic language, Islamic studies, and social studies will also be offered.

Cambridge Lower Secondary Program

Cambridge Lower Secondary develops skills and understanding in English, mathematics, and science.

English enables learners to communicate confidently and effectively, and develop skills for responding to a variety of information, media, and texts with understanding and enjoyment.

• There is a comprehensive health clinic with a nurse who periodically examines students to ensure their health
• The school prohibits the entry of the following foods: sweets, chocolate, potato chips, French fries, soft drinks, cakes, pizza, gum, or flavored milk drinks for health and safety reasons. Peanuts are completely prohibited
