Required Documents for Registration at ISC-Muscat:
- Complete application form and medical examination form (available at the school office, via email, or downloadable in PDF format). These forms can also be filled out and submitted electronically.
- Copy of student's and parents' passports (with valid residence visa page for non-Omanis).
- Copy of valid Omani personal ID card for student and parents.
- Four recent passport-size photographs, with the student's name written on the back of each photo.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Copy of vaccination record.
- Original reports for the last three academic years (if available). The most recent report/last academic year must be translated and certified.
Notes regarding document submission: Copies of these documents can be uploaded when applying electronically, sent via email, or delivered in hard copy to the admissions officer at the school.
Translation: All documents not written in English or Arabic must be translated by an official translator within the Sultanate of Oman.
Certification:
- Gulf Cooperation Council Countries: Certificates and reports must be certified by the relevant ministry in that country.
- Other Countries: The certificate/report must be certified by:
- Ministry of Education in the country of origin
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of origin
- Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the same country
Transfer from schools outside the Sultanate of Oman: Obtaining equivalency from the Omani Ministry of Education is required, and registration will not be approved without the ministry's final approval.
Transfer from schools within the Sultanate: A transfer number through the educational portal or a transfer letter from the previous school must be provided. Registration is considered temporary until the transfer number is provided.
Diagnostic Tests:
- Students applying for KG1 through Grade 1 will undergo an interview. The child must be toilet-trained and able to speak and follow simple instructions.
- Students applying for Grade 2 and above will undergo diagnostic tests as part of the admission process. After the tests are completed and corrected, the school makes its final decision regarding admission and academic placement.
