About the school

The Syrian Community School in Al Duhail, Qatar, is an educational institution established on October 1, 2013, with support from the State of Qatar, with the aim of providing a comprehensive educational environment for Syrian students residing in the country. The school operates under the supervision of the Qatari Ministry of Education and Higher Education, which fully finances it, allowing students to benefit from free education and transportation. The school adopts the Syrian curriculum modified by the Syrian Education Authority, with English language instruction according to the Independent Schools curriculum in Qatar, in addition to teaching Qatar's national history. In the twelfth grade, the Independent Schools curriculum is taught to enable students to continue their university education in local and international universities. The school is keen to build effective communication with parents and pays great attention to extracurricular activities, participating in school debate competitions, Quran competitions, international scientific tests, National Sports Day events, and humanitarian support campaigns, which contribute to developing students' skills and enhancing their integration into society
