Geel Alfaisal National School was established in 1395 AH, the same year King Faisal, may God have mercy on him, was martyred. It was a tribute to the memory of a man who was one of the greatest figures of the 20th century. He was born in Riyadh in 1324 AH, raised in the house of his grandfather, and grew up in an atmosphere of righteousness and piety. In 1384 AH, he was appointed as the King of the Kingdom, where he was a just ruler and a successful politician. In recognition of all of this, the founder of the school named it after the great leader and chose the logo, where the letter "F" represents the first letter of Faisal’s name, embracing the flame of knowledge and the quill of writing.
