The International Philippine School was established in 1998 to provide educational services to Filipino overseas workers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The school was accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Saudi Arabia and received a license to operate in 1999. The International Philippine School gained full trust from its constituents, which paved the way for the school's accreditation and recognition by the Ministry of Education in 2000.
