About the school

The Second Philippine International School (SPIS) was established in 1999, after being conceived on December 24, 1998. It is a non-profit, self-funding educational institution in Riyadh. The school received support from the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine community, and it is accredited by the Philippine Department of Education (DepED) and the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (MOE). It also earned academic accreditation in December 2000, which is one of the highest levels of educational recognition.The school works to provide high-quality education for the children of the Philippine community, offering a supportive learning environment that fosters values and discipline while promoting creativity and self-reliance. It also focuses on building the students' personalities academically and ethically, preparing them to be productive individuals capable of serving their community and country.
