About the school
The Sri Lankan International School (SLISJ) was inaugurated in Jeddah in October 1998 under the patronage of the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah, with approval from the Ministry of Education for international schools. SLISJ is a non-profit organization, managed by a specialized board of directors elected by the parents of Sri Lankan students and approved by the Ministry of Education. The school aims to meet the educational needs of the Sri Lankan community in Jeddah and operates strictly within the guidelines and regulations of community schools as set by the Ministry of Education.
SLISJ will be a model for achieving "Excellence Through Education" in a dynamic environment, where it nurtures students to achieve global success, making the school the best in the region while preparing them to become responsible citizens.
