Children are Prevented from Entering the Nursery in the Following Cases:
- Fever of 38°C or higher
- Rash (with or without fever)
- Diarrhea/vomiting
- Breathing difficulties or persistent cough
- Conjunctivitis or eye infection
- Any child with an infectious condition requiring antibiotics must stay home for the first 48 hours after starting antibiotics and will not be admitted to the nursery during this period
- If a child becomes ill while at the nursery, parents will be contacted and must pick up the child within one hour
- Children should not return to the nursery until 24 hours have passed since symptoms disappeared
- The nursery nurse measures students' temperatures every morning and throughout the day. According to Ministry guidelines, any child with a temperature exceeding 38°C will be sent home
