To enroll at GEMS Founders School - Dubai South, you must follow several steps including:

Step One: Online Application

You can apply online by filling out the registration form available on the school's website. Once you complete the form, you will receive a notification with an electronic reference number and instructions on the next steps.

Step Two: Assessment

Your child will be invited by the school registrar to undergo an assessment or interview (when appropriate and if necessary) via email notification or phone, and results will be communicated via email or phone.

Note:

• Foundation Stage 1 & 2 (FS1 & FS2).
• Written assessments: Year One and Year Two.
• CAT4 tests and written assessments: from Grade Three to Grade Eight.

Step Three: Registration

The school registrar will send offer letters to successful applicants, subject to seat availability.

Step Four: Registration Fee Deposit

This amount is paid as an initial payment after the student is accepted and receives an admission offer. This payment is 5% of the total tuition fees and is deducted from the total tuition fees for the academic year. Please note that this payment is non-refundable.

Once the above process is completed, the student is registered.

Parents will be notified via email of the tuition fee payment schedule by the Finance Department.

Required Documents for Registration:

• Passport (copies for child, father, and mother).
• Residence visa page (copies for child, father, and mother).
• Copy of your child's birth certificate (in English or Arabic).
• Recent passport-sized photos of your child.
• Copies of your child's last two school reports for all children enrolling in Grade One and Two (in English); reports from the last two academic years and CAT 4 report for children enrolling in Grade Three and above; nursery certificates, if any, for children enrolling in FS1 and FS2. A medical and treatment report valid for 6 months, if your child has special educational needs.
• Copy of your child's vaccination/immunization card.
• Emirates ID card (front and back) (copies for child, father, and mother).
• Original Emirates ID for the child and both parents (will be requested if your child is accepted at GEMS Founders School - Dubai South).
• Transfer certificate or leaving certificate from the previous school. (The original must be submitted on or before the first day of your child's enrollment at the school, if your child is accepted at GEMS Founders School - Dubai South).

Transfer Certificate Guidelines

The transfer certificate must be on official paper bearing the school logo and contain the following information:

• Student's full name.
• Date of birth.
• Registration date and grade in which the child began studying at the current school.
• (a) Current term.
• (ii) Completed year/grade, (iii) Year/grade promoted to.
• Curriculum.
• Principal's signature and school stamp.

In case of transfer from a school within GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman) or from another emirate in the UAE, the transfer certificate must be attested by the Ministry of Education.

Children coming from countries other than the United States of America, Australia, Canada, Western Europe, Japan, and New Zealand must have an original transfer certificate attested by:

• Educational authorities (from the country of origin of the teaching certificate).
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs (from the country of origin of TC).
• UAE Embassy (from the country of origin of TC).
