2. Primary School
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers a dynamic, inquiry-based educational approach for students aged 3 to 11 years. Grounded in IB philosophy, the programme encourages students to become active, compassionate lifelong learners who engage with the world thoughtfully and confidently.
The transdisciplinary curriculum integrates 6 globally relevant themes, enabling students to explore connections across disciplines such as Science, Mathematics, Language, and Social Studies. Through guided inquiry, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, empowering them to ask meaningful questions, investigate, and take action.
3. Middle School
Designed for students aged 11 to 16 years, this inquiry-based curriculum ensures students are at the center of the educational process, as in all IB programmes. Learning aligns with their personal, social, and emotional development and wellbeing. Subjects include Arabic Language, English Language, Science, Mathematics, Music and Arts, and Physical Education.
4. Diploma Programme (DP)
A rigorous academic programme that prepares students for university, enabling them to achieve academic excellence and explore their passions beyond the written curriculum. The programme is valued by universities worldwide, and successful completion allows students to matriculate based on their points and application. In some cases, students may receive university credits upon successful completion.
Students study six subjects from subject groups (Primary and Additional Languages, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Individuals and Societies). Careful consideration should be given to suitability for Higher Level (HL) subjects, as requirements vary, and students must ensure alignment with their interests and aspirations.
5. Career-related Programme (CP)
Designed for students over 16 years old with a passion for a specific career pathway or subject area.
CP students complete a Career-related Study (CRS), three DP subjects at Standard or Higher Level (or combination), plus core components including: Reflective Project, Community Engagement, Personal and Professional Skills, and Language & Cultural Studies.
Students should select subjects aligned with their interests, skills, and future goals. The CRS connects to the student's intended career field, while DP subjects complement this direction. Researching post-secondary requirements is essential for informed decision-making.
