The GIIS network was founded in 2002 in Singapore, then expanded to include countries such as Malaysia, Japan, and India, with focus on providing innovative and advanced education. Global Indian International School opened in Abu Dhabi in 2015, and was designed as a modern educational environment that meets the needs of all students. The school adopts the CBSE curriculum and Global Montessori Plus (GMP) program for kindergarten, with focus on developing academic and personal skills. The school offers a wide range of sports and artistic activities, STEAM laboratories, library, innovation and entrepreneurship center, and multiple playgrounds, in addition to arts and music studio and yoga rooms. It also cares about student safety through camera surveillance, specialized supervisors, strict entry and exit policies, and safe transportation services, alongside continuous monitoring of students' academic and personal development.
