Admission Process at SABIS International School - Yas Island:

The admission process aims to be personal and information-rich for all applying families. In accordance with the decision of the relevant authorities in the UAE that prohibits parents from visiting school buildings, and to facilitate procedures, we have prepared the following steps to help you complete the registration process electronically, including testing procedures and fee payment.

Application and Required Documents:

There is no application deadline, however it is recommended to start the admission process early. Applications are accepted according to seat availability during the academic year. Please note there are "enrollment fees" due to begin admission procedures and cover administrative costs.

You will be required to submit a set of documents alongside the electronic student enrollment application form:

• Copy of valid residency for student and parent

Tests:

Applicants for Pre-KG through KG2 undergo a personal interview as part of the admission procedures.

Applicants for Grade 1 and above undergo diagnostic tests as part of the admission track. After completion, tests are corrected and admission decisions are made based on their results.

Parents are contacted to schedule interviews and diagnostic tests after receiving the complete electronic application.

Admission Decisions:

Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of applicants, where diagnostic test results and previous school records are taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis. Additional criteria include: motivation, social and emotional growth, willingness to make effort, and the school's ability to meet the student's needs.

After acceptance at SABIS International School - Yas Island, required fees are paid via electronic bank transfers. When the school shares proof of payment, the student's seat is officially reserved.
