Al-Mahd School - Riffa Al-Mahd School – Riffa is an international school that provides distinguished educational services for male and female students at all educational levels, offering the British curriculum and accredited by Cambridge and the Bahraini Ministry of Education. The school began operating in October 1997 with only 40 students and two villas, and now has three school campuses in Saar, Samaheej, and Riffa, with more than 2,800 students.

• Registration and admission for the academic year beginning in September starts in April of each year.
- The minimum age for admission to Kindergarten 1 is four (4) years on or before the first of December.
- There is no placement test for children registered in Kindergarten 1.
- For all other grades, students are accepted based on an entrance test in English, Arabic, Mathematics, and Science.
- The school requires that children upon enrollment be able to communicate in English at a level appropriate to their age and development.
- If English is not the child's mother tongue, it will be necessary for the school to assess their English language ability.
- Admission depends on the result of the placement test and available seats.
Application/Admission Requirements:
- Fill out the school application form.
- The child's name must match the birth certificate or passport. • Recent passport-sized photos.
- A copy of the passport with valid dates.
- A copy of the child's birth certificate and national ID card.
- Original transfer certificate or school leaving certificate from the previous school. (Must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education in case of transfer from a school outside Bahrain).
- Two copies of the latest school report and examination results or a school recommendation letter.
- A copy of the medical certificate or vaccination card for Kindergarten 1 and 2.
Fees are paid in cash and the fee collection times are: Sunday to Thursday from 7:15 AM to 1:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
