Yaqoob bin Jasim Al-Ofi founded AlSharqyia School in 2009, facing many difficulties at the beginning of its establishment. The school's actual journey began with four students in 2011, and it continued to grow and prosper until its student count exceeded 600 students across all academic levels. The school has received accreditation from the Cambridge Authority and the Bahraini Ministry of Education. The school follows the British curriculum which is designed to ensure the development of students' skills, build their knowledge, form their independent personalities, and motivate them toward academic excellence to become self-confident individuals who are prosperous and active in society, capable of achieving their best within available resources.
AlSharqyia School, where learners are empowered and nurtured by competent faculty and staff, is committed to preparing individuals who will serve the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Developing young learners with active and creative minds, who have understanding and empathy for others, and courage to act according to their beliefs. We emphasize the comprehensive growth of each child spiritually, morally, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
- Provide a stable, happy, stimulating, and challenging environment in an atmosphere of cultural and religious diversity in all aspects of school life. - Appreciate and encourage everyone to pursue the highest standards to achieve their abilities and potential. - Achieve students' emotional, physical, social, intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth and maturity. - Enhance students' abilities to search for information by themselves, not just obtain it. - Pave the way and provide opportunities for learners to discover themselves, practice their skills, and showcase their talents through activities and events. - Enable students to express themselves. - Give students opportunities for academic excellence and remove obstacles in their path. - Promote citizenship values by celebrating all national occasions. - Encourage students to read and memorize the Quran, and teach them correct Islamic values and principles. - Build positive, effective personalities that impact society, enhance positive behaviors, and encourage students to practice them.
