Awal Kindergarten is one of the educational initiatives of the Awal Women's Society, and was established in May 1980 with the aim of providing comprehensive care for children in the pre-school stage, and preparing them educationally and academically to join regular schools. The kindergarten started in a rented building in the Muharraq area, which the association dedicated for this purpose, then later moved to an independent building within the Ibn Khaldoun Social Center in the Arad area, where it continues its work to this day. The kindergarten includes a staff of qualified teachers specialized in the field of kindergartens, and adopts modern educational curricula that keep pace with the requirements of the age group, with a focus on developing the mental, social and psychological skills of the child. The kindergarten has gained the trust of parents over more than four decades, thanks to the quality of its educational programs and the safe and stimulating educational environment it provides.
