Admission and registration requirements at Madeleine's Pre-School:

The nursery accepts children from the age of 18 months to 6 years, with a focus on ages 2 to 6 years.

The registration application must be submitted in person at the nursery office or through the official website of the nursery.

A non-refundable application fee of 20 Bahraini Dinars is required when submitting the application.

Upon confirmation of acceptance, a non-refundable registration fee of 120 Bahraini Dinars must be paid.

Priority in admission is given to siblings of current and former students, provided the application is submitted before the end of December.

Daily Life Activities

These activities are based on realistic tasks that children see adults performing daily. Unlike adults, children are more attracted to the process of performing the activity rather than its outcome. Sensory Domain

Sensory materials are designed to enable the child to acquire a tangible understanding of the concepts of order, sequence, and gradation, so that these concepts are firmly established in the child's mind for life and support the development of mathematical thinking.

Language, Reading, and Writing

The child is first introduced to sounds by providing materials containing letters and related objects, to help them recognize primary sounds. Children work independently to match objects with the letter that represents their primary sound. Later, sight words and phonetic words consisting of three letters are introduced to them. Arabic and English languages are continuously reinforced through conversations, stories, songs, and rhymes.

Mathematics

Maria Montessori believed that children possess an innate mathematical mindset. Our mathematics program focuses on preparing children to understand basic concepts such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and geometry strongly. These concepts, despite their difficulty, form the foundation for understanding mathematics in the future.

Children learn about human and animal life cycles and the classification of living organisms.
