A'Soud Global School in Duqm is the first private international school to open in the Duqm Economic Zone in the Sultanate of Oman, where it began its educational journey in September 2019 under the umbrella of A'Soud Education company. This company is a partnership between Al-Tamman Holding and English Education Management Company (EEMC), and is part of the ambitious direction to enhance private education in the Sultanate of Oman, especially in vital areas such as Duqm.

The school is distinguished by its strategic location within the "Rock Garden" area in Duqm, within the Special Economic Zone (SEZAD), on an area of 15,000 square meters, with a capacity reaching 600 male and female students. The school includes students from multiple nationalities, with an approximate ratio of 55% females and 45% males, which creates an international multicultural educational environment.

You can successfully register at A'Soud Global School by following these steps:

  1. Scheduling an appointment.
  2. Completing documents by having parents fill out all required registration forms.
  3. Submitting papers and registration fees, here are the required documents:
  • Admission form.
  • Medical form with vaccination record.
  • Copy of birth certificate.
  • 4 personal photos (4×6 size).
  • Government documents (for expatriate students): copy of residence permit, passport, and student and parents' visa.
  • Last two academic reports.
  • Equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education if the student is not registered in the Ministry's portal.
  • Terms and conditions signature form.
  • School admission policy and procedures.
  • Assessment (Entrance Requirements) All applications are subject to assessment according to the admission policy published on the school's website, and usually include an assessment in English and mathematics according to the academic stage.
  • Admission Decision The final admission decision is made by the Principal. After that, the family is contacted regarding the admission result.
  • Official Acceptance Upon acceptance of the application, an official acceptance letter is sent to parents for their signature. It must be returned within 7 working days from the date of the offer, otherwise the child's place is subject to cancellation.
  • Payment of Admission Fees Accepting the offer requires payment of 200 Omani Rials as non-refundable admission fees.
  • Submission of Final Documents Documents are verified and the family is given a period of 7 days to provide any missing documents.
  • A'Soud Global School relies on three official payment methods:

    Cash: Payment is made directly at the school's accounts office. Cheques: Made out to Asoud Educational Services Company LLC. The school receives post-dated cheques to account for quarterly or monthly installments, with a penalty of 200 Omani Rials in case of delay from the agreed installment. Bank Transfer: Through transfer to one of the school's accounts at NBO or Bank Muscat, with the necessity of including the student's name and invoice details, and sending the transfer notification to the email or delivering it manually.

    Also, the school accepts annual or quarterly payment, and the administration may approve monthly payment based on a prior request.

    1. Personal & Leadership Development Program Which encourages students to develop communication, leadership, collaboration, and initiative skills.
    2. English as an Additional Language Enhancement Program (EAL) Dedicated to non-English speaking students, to improve language skills and adapt to the British educational environment.
    3. Learning Support Program It is an academic support program dedicated to students who need additional intervention in skills such as reading, writing, or arithmetic.
    4. Cross-Curricular Thematic Projects These are multidisciplinary educational projects (especially in the primary stage – IPC). These projects include areas such as: environment, space, food, cultural identity... etc.
    5. Enrichment & After-School Programs Daily or weekly activities such as: robotics, arts, sports, music, theater.
    6. Physical Education and Sports Activities Program: Includes general fitness, swimming, team sports, and is an essential part of developing students' mental and physical health.
    7. University Guidance and Career Preparation Program (for secondary stage) Starting from advanced grades (9 and above), includes career guidance, CV writing skills, and university readiness tests.
