About the school
International Pioneers School (IPS) was established in Salalah in 2010, and began its educational journey with the aim of providing distinguished international education that aligns with global quality standards. In 2015, the school obtained international licensing from the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, to become officially accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education. Since then, the school continues to provide a modern educational experience for more than 22 nationalities among female and male students, in order to enhance critical and creative thinking skills, within a stimulating and safe environment for students from different cultural backgrounds.

You can successfully register at International Pioneers School by completing the following:
- Fill out the registration application form with official documents attached.
- Submit a medical form from a pediatrician or vaccination certificate.
- Six passport photos or student card + copy of parent's passport/card.
- Academic report (transcript) from the previous school, with authentication if the student is from outside Oman.
- Conduct assessment tests for nursery stage (Nursery–KG-1-KG-2) or written test for grades 1-12.
- Personal interview for the student with the administration.
- Parent's signature on school regulations and policies, with the school retaining the right to request academic behavior reports from the student's previous school.
Payment is made in cash or via Visa card only — checks are not allowed. Payments are arranged according to a schedule in the registration contract, and most taxes are paid before the beginning of the academic year.
IPS offers programs from Playgroup stage up to Grade 12. The curriculum aligns with the Omani Ministry of Education in parallel with international curricula (Cambridge IGCSE and AS-Levels). Includes special support programs such as ESL for English language and Core Math for students who need additional support.
