About the school

National Private School was established in 1982 and is considered one of the first private schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The school began by offering services in kindergarten and only the first and second grades.

Over the years, the school has witnessed significant development in size, student numbers, and diversity of educational programs. In the academic year 1997/1998, the first batch of General Education Diploma graduates completed their studies. The school adopts three educational systems including: General Education, Bilingual Education, and IGCSE programs.

The school strives to integrate Omani Arab culture with the latest educational methods and modern technologies. It also pays great attention to developing the student's personality to play an effective role in building their homeland. The school comprises a distinguished elite of experienced teachers from various nationalities who spare no effort in providing an educational environment full of opportunities that help students acquire new skills that enhance their academic level, qualifying them to join local and international universities.
