<p>At Juniors Nursery, your child will acquire skills, learn new knowledge, and demonstrate their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development, where children should primarily focus on developing the three core areas first. As children progress in age, the core areas will help them develop skills in 4 specific areas, which are:</p><p>Literacy.</p><p>Mathematics.</p><p>Understanding the world.</p><p>Expressive arts and design.</p><p>These seven areas are used to plan your child's learning and activities, and the specialists who teach and support your child will ensure that activities suit your child's unique needs. This is somewhat similar to the curriculum in primary and secondary schools, but it is appropriate for young children and designed to be highly flexible so that staff can follow your child's unique needs and interests. Children at the EYFS stage learn through play and exploration, activity, and creative and critical thinking that happens inside and outside the classrooms.</p><div><br></div>

<p>The amazing activities enhance and complement the learning process in the classroom by focusing on developing the social, emotional, and physical aspects of children:</p><p>Messy Play</p><p>Messy play helps children in many ways to relax, express their feelings, experiment with different materials, explore texture, develop hand-eye coordination, and practice skills such as pouring, measuring, and mixing.</p><p>In each of our nurseries, you will find dedicated areas for messy play filled with colors, sand, water, smells, corn flakes, soap flakes, and other safe materials suitable for children in early childhood.</p><div><div>Cooking Activities</div><div>Cooking activities are a great opportunity for children to learn more about healthy and delicious food. Children learn about different food groups, cooking methods, as well as the shapes, flavors, and textures of food, which is an important part of encouraging them to adopt a healthy and positive approach to mealtime.</div><div>Sensory Play</div><div>Preschool children learn and explore the world through their senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing. In our care for your children, it is our duty to help them explore their senses by providing appropriate activities for sensory play and learning. For this reason, all children in our nurseries are encouraged to use our sensory play resources, whether it's in a dark room with interactive colored lights and music, light boxes, sandboxes, torn paper games, or treasure baskets.</div><div>Garden Fun</div><div>The outdoor environment provides many wonderful opportunities for play and development, allowing children to make the most of natural resources and work on a larger scale than is possible indoors. In our gardens, we encourage planting and caring for plants and vegetables, digging in sand and soil, using clay and imagination, playing in puddles, and exploring water sources.</div><div>Music and Movement</div><div>Music and movement sessions provide fun and interactive physical exercise for infants and early stages, where music, soap bubbles, and lights are integrated, allowing even the youngest children to participate in these activities.</div><div>Outdoors</div><div>The outdoor areas contain many resources that help children develop in various ways, including promoting independence, exploration, investigative skills, risk acceptance, and self-confidence building, all of which support children in developing their current and future skills.
