Philosophy: The school believes that children learn best when engaged in meaningful activities that provide guidance for safely interacting with their environment, promoting knowledge building through planning processes, exploration, experiments, and developing thinking skills.

It's home to more than 4,500 students and 500 teachers, administrators, and staff in fourteen branches in the United States, in addition to several international schools, including Sparkies Early Education Centers and Modern Global International Schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The institution provides educational services from nursery to 12th-grade students, with comprehensive and diverse educational programs. MGIS curriculum is designed uniformly, evidence-based, rigorous, and aligned with American Common Core content standards, incorporating ambitious teaching practices. Teachers, administrators, and educational coaches work periodically to analyze data and solve problems related to teaching and learning issues. There's also a focus on creating strong educational opportunities for all students, including developing social and emotional competencies to meet everyone's needs. Mathematics Curriculum Program: The mathematics program establishes the foundations of mathematical literacy for students from an early age. In this program, students are introduced to all aspects of arithmetic operations, algebra, data, probability, geometry, measurement, counting, patterns, and functions. Science Curriculum Program: The scientific program adopts the philosophy and hypothesis of the American Common Core Standards (CSS), in addition to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). English Language Arts: The academic program adopts the philosophy and hypothesis of the American Common Core Standards (CSS) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Arabic and Islamic Studies: MGIS pays great attention to teaching Arabic language and Islamic studies as an integral part of the core curriculum. The school also adheres to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia for Islamic studies, Arabic language, and social studies. MGIS also offers Arabic as a second language for all non-native speakers.
