Children eligible for registration in kindergarten are those who have completed three years by the start of the academic year, up to the age of six.

Students eligible for registration in the first grade of elementary school are those who have completed six years by the start of the academic year or less than that by ninety days only, in addition to providing a certificate issued by an accredited kindergarten proving their enrollment.

The kindergarten that the child attended must be from government or private kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
