Children eligible for registration in kindergarten are those who have completed three years of age at the start of the academic year, up to six years old.
Children who have reached the age of six are not accepted in kindergarten.
Students eligible for registration in first grade are those who have completed six years of age at the start of the academic year or less than that by only ninety days, in addition to providing a certificate issued from an accredited kindergarten proving their enrollment.
The developmental form must be available proving the child's mastery of developmental skills, with an approved recommendation from the kindergarten teacher including the child's ability for early enrollment in first grade.
The kindergarten attended by the child must be from government or private kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
Children from kindergartens outside the Kingdom are accepted provided there is evidence of mastery of developmental skills and a recommendation for early enrollment in first grade, and the documents must be authenticated by the Saudi Cultural Attaché or the Saudi Embassy.
The student must have passed the immediately preceding year with a grade of at least "very good."
Passing the admission tests (Arabic language, science, mathematics, WIDA).
Behavior and attendance scores in middle and high school must not be less than 100 points.
Paying the required fees after passing the tests and being accepted.
Bringing the previous file from the last school containing all certificates and documents (medical examination, vaccination certificate, copy of family record, birth certificate for Saudis, valid passport and residence permit for non-Saudi students, 3 photos for kindergarten and first-grade children, and 3 photos for students in other grades).
