Model Education International Academy (MEIA) is a school from the Model Education Schools chain, founded in (1378 AH - 1958 AD) by its founder Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Khudair - may God have mercy on him. Sheikh Mohammed was known for his great passion for education throughout his scientific and professional life. He joined Aramco in 1369 AH as a railway worker after completing his education in Qassim. With his good understanding of English and his observation while working at Aramco of the good level of his colleagues in English despite not reading and writing in Arabic, and with his deep knowledge of education, he converted his personal room into a classroom to teach his colleagues reading and writing at Aramco. In 1374 AH, he moved to work on the agricultural project supervised by Aramco and asked the company to establish schools for the children of agricultural workers. The company agreed to establish two schools, which Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khudair supervised in addition to his work. After a long and full journey in government work, Sheikh laid the first cornerstone with the opening of the first branch of Model Education Schools, which was located in Al-Malaz district in Riyadh, to be the first school in Riyadh to teach girls, two years before the establishment of the General Presidency for Girls' Education.
