Basic Assessment: The selected student will be invited to an interview session at the school to understand appropriate activities for your child that they will be asked to perform. These sessions will help with interaction with the student. The interview schedule will be sent to you via email.

Waiting List: The Online Admission Enquiry Form (OAEF) will be moved to the waiting list if there are no available seats at the time of admission.

ADEK Age Requirements Please consider the age requirements issued by ADEK as follows:

  • Kindergarten stage: 4 years
  • Upper Kindergarten stage: 5 years
  • Grade 1: 6 - 8 years

Admission will be granted according to the following conditions:

  • Priority is given to siblings
  • Strict adherence to school policies and agreement to regular payment
  • The applicant's basic assessment results will be considered
  • Students with complete documents will be considered first
  • Admission will be confirmed only upon payment of registration fees
  • Admission will not be granted to siblings of defaulters and irregular fee payers
  • Siblings of students with good academic and behavioral records will be considered
  • Parents agree that admission automatically entails agreement to the school's fee payment policy and transportation policy
  • The Principal's decision remains final

  • Proof of student's residential address (submit water and electricity bill or lease contract or home ownership or correct location as plot number, road number (for Al Ain), sector (complex), area (or neighborhood for Al Ain) or submit GPS coordinates of your residence
  • Grade sheet/report card for Grade 2 and above
    • Within Abu Dhabi Emirate: Year-end report card from the electronic student information system
    • Other Emirates and outside UAE: Year-end report card
  • Transfer Certificate: (a) The original transfer certificate issued outside the UAE must be attested by:
    • Ministry of Education or Education Office in the country from which the certificate was issued
    • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which the certificate was issued
    • Embassy or Consulate of the UAE in the country from which the certificate was issued
    • Signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE
  • (b) The original transfer certificate issued from another emirate must be attested by:
  • Regional Ministry of Education office

  • (c) Original transfer certificate issued from within Abu Dhabi Emirate / Al Ain city is mandatory for:
  • Students transferring from other curricula (British/American/etc.)

  • Certificate of completion and report card are not required for KG1 and KG2
  • To comply with Ministry of Education (ADEK) directives, a transfer certificate is required before your child starts at Al Ain Juniors
