Eligible Age for Admission
Registration and admission for various classes from kindergarten to grade 12 begins from December of the previous academic year.
Kindergarten Section (Specified Age)
- KG1 Stage: The child must be four years old as of March 31 of the academic year.
- KG2: The child must be five years old as of March 31 of the academic year.
- Grade 1: The child must be six years old as of March 31 of the academic year. Grade-level registration for admission to the new academic year begins in the last week of December each year.
In all cases, admission procedures set by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority must be followed. Students must register their names before admission.
According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, children enrolled in KG1 for the academic year must be four years old by March 31. There is no admission test for this stage.
Required Documents for Admission (Grades 2 to 12):
- Copy of the student's and parent's passport with stamped visa page.
- Copies and originals of the Emirate ID cards for the student and guardian.
- Results of annual or final examinations or progress report from the last school attended.
- Certificate of good conduct from the last school attended.
- Transfer certificate issued by the last school attended and attested by the education administration in the concerned country such as: (1) Regional Education Officer or Assistant Officer or Education Board, and also attested by (2) the Consulate in Dubai and (3) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
- It is essential to submit the child's vaccination card (original with copy).
