The registration policy at The Gulf International Private Academy (GIPA) complies with the policies of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and the Ministry of Education regulations, and aims to create a warm and welcoming environment for new students and parents and integrate them into the academy community. The policy includes the following points:

• The academy accepts students regardless of race, color, nationality, religion, or gender.
• Students are separated by gender from Grade 4 to Grade 12, with a separate building dedicated to female students.
• The admission age for kindergarten is four years for KG1 and five years for KG2, and the student must be six years old to enter Grade 1.
• The academy does not accommodate more than 25 students per class in kindergarten, and 30 students per class in other grades.
• Registration begins in early February, and parents are encouraged to register early.
• In case of limited seats, priority is given to returning students, children of school staff, students residing near the school, and UAE students.
• Students and parents are offered a virtual tour of the school upon request to familiarize themselves with its facilities before registration.
• All students/parents must read the student handbook and sign an acknowledgment of commitment to its contents.
• The school registers students on the eSIS system according to the dates and regulations specified by ADEK.
• According to ADEK regulations, new students in Grades 11 and 12 must come from schools following the American curriculum with a cumulative GPA of no less than 60/100.
• Parents must update their information at least once each academic year, especially health and social information and contact details.
• The academy ensures updating of all students' files with certificates, reports, intervention plans, and others in paper and electronic files, and maintains confidentiality of all student information.

The Gulf International Private Academy consists of two main campuses. The first campus was the first established in 2001 and accommodated students from KG through Grade 12 until the 2011-2012 academic year. First Campus (C1): The campus includes:
