It is a competition between different schools following the CBSE educational system in Bahrain where French is taught. Various competitions are organized such as poster design, French poetry recitation, speaking in French about a chosen topic, and competitions about France. Participating schools organize preliminaries in their schools, and 28 selected students participate in the finals at the Indian School Bahrain. Winners are awarded cups and certificates at the end of the ceremony. Apart from the competition section, there are also songs in French presented by students of the Indian School, and judges come from the French Embassy and the "Alliance Française de Bahreïn."
Model United Nations is a program that gives students the opportunity to apply their unique individual skills in a dynamic and exciting forum that focuses on problem-solving skills, diplomacy, and global understanding. The Bahrain Model United Nations Program (BAHMUN) began in 1995 under the sponsorship of the Adliya Rotary Club, and the Indian School plays a key role in coordinating it. Students chair sessions in the General Assembly, Economic and Social Council, Human Rights, and Security Council. Students undergo a rigorous selection and training process before representing the school as delegates and press teams. The school also participates in the Cairo Model United Nations (CACMUN) in Egypt. This program simulates lively debates and multicultural interactions, and Mini MUN programs throughout the year and interaction with other schools provide students with appropriate exposure to develop their personal skills that are assets for their future lives.
The ISB International Career Fair provides students with an opportunity to explore many opportunities to choose their career paths. It is an annual event where prestigious universities and colleges from around the world come to our campus and meet with students. The exhibition provides a forum for networking between students and parents with representatives of participating universities and colleges.
The Youth Festival at the Indian School is one of the prestigious events under the banner of the Indian School. A competitive environment is created where each student is given a platform to excel. This festival encourages participation, and the four houses into which the students are divided compete with each other for the famous moving cup.
