Kindergarten Program

Qurum International Private School is committed to meeting the needs of our children, appreciating their innate abilities and capacity to learn. We provide a stimulating and appropriate environment for each child's cognitive, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Children learn through play and interactive activities, by integrating language arts, mathematics, science, religion, and social studies in addition to arts and physical education.

A team of experienced teachers works together to serve a classroom that does not exceed 20 students, to ensure a safe environment that gives each child great attention.

Grades 1 to 6

We offer our students an advanced international program, designed by the International Assessment Authority at Cambridge University, in English, mathematics, and science subjects.

The Omani curriculum in other subjects will attract students' interest and prepare them for a rich educational life. Students acquire knowledge and skills that enable them to compete in a global environment that allows them to live a life full of integrity and prosperity.

A specialized teaching staff in English, mathematics, science, Arabic language, Islamic studies, social studies, information technology, physical education, and arts works with each classroom to provide the best standards of learning quality.

The kindergarten department includes two sections: the English language section and the Arabic language section, and offers integrated bilingual programs.

Grades 7 and 8

During the preparatory school years, students go through their most intensive period of physical, psychological, and cognitive growth.

We aim to connect the curricula of the previous six years with Cambridge International IGCSE programs. In addition to its academic focus, Qurum Private School's environment suitable for growth also cares about social and moral progress.

Dedicated international staff specialized in English, mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, Arabic language, Islamic studies, social studies, information technology, physical education, music, arts, and professional and life skills work with each group.

Grades 9 to 12

We know that students are lifelong learners. In addition to helping them achieve the best possible grades and giving them passports for immediate advancement.

We also offer our students the most globally recognized curriculum: Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), which guarantees them lifelong success.

Engaging in a variety of academic subjects gives our students an indispensable intellectual toolkit. Subject-based curricula in Arabic, English, mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, information technology, and business studies allow much more than just transferring knowledge necessary for further study or work.

We focus on developing a curriculum that is multidisciplinary by nature, organized around Cambridge and Edexcel programs.

The goal is to create an academically demanding, coherently interconnected, and personally relevant study program. Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 have the option to study in the International Program (IGCSE and A Levels) or bilingual or monolingual Ministry of Education programs.

Students have the option to take Cambridge IGCSE exams at the end of grade 10, Edexcel AS exams in grade 11, and Edexcel A2 exams in grade 12, which grant them an internationally recognized diploma, or they can pursue the General Education Diploma (GED) issued by the Ministry of Education. Students who choose the latter option are encouraged to take the IELTS exam.
