Admission and Registration Requirements at Knowledge International School:

  • Children applying for Pre-KG must be between three and four years old.
  • Applicants for KG1 must have completed four years on or before August 31, and similarly, applicants for KG2 must have completed five years on or before August 31.

The registration process can be completed through three steps:

  1. Complete the Initial Interview Form – through the form available on the school's website.
  2. Admission Test – On Campus: For Grade 2 and above, students must take a 45-minute admission test in English, Mathematics, and Arabic to assess their academic level and knowledge. After completing the first step, an appointment will be scheduled for the admission exam. For applicants from Pre-KG to Grade 1, they will be called for an interview lasting approximately 30 minutes.
  3. Submit Required Documents: After completing the second step, the school will contact you within 24 hours to inform you of the admission test results. Afterward, please submit the documents below to the registration officer, along with paying the application fee of 5% of the tuition fees (non-refundable).

  • Copy of applicant's passport and residence page for non-citizens.
  • Copy of father's passport and residence page for non-citizens.
  • Copy of student's national ID.
  • Copy of parents' national ID.
  • Copy of student's birth certificate.
  • Copy of student's vaccination card.
  • Copy of complete family book (for citizens only).
  • Copy of final academic certificate or most recent available report at the time of application.

Please note that according to ADEK regulations, no applicant is accepted without a UAE national ID. Also, please note that any certificates or documents issued from outside the UAE must be authenticated by official authorities such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE Embassy in the issuing country.

Educational Programs by Stage at KIS

Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-KG) / Kindergarten (KG1 – KG2):

  • The school adopts the American Early Years curriculum linked to California standards at this stage.
  • Focus is on fundamentals such as language, motor skills, and hands-on inquiry activities to foster a love of learning.
  • Additionally, curriculum subjects from the UAE curriculum are taught to Arab students: such as Arabic language, Islamic studies, and social education.

Elementary Stage (Grades 1-5):

Knowledge International School is committed to developing the physical and artistic skills of its students. Therefore, the school plans to conduct trials to discover physical talents in football and basketball, and artistic trials in drawing during school hours.

The trials will include multiple tests aimed at discovering students with coordination skills that may qualify them to represent the school in sports teams in local and international championships. The trials are expected to be conducted during school hours and within the school premises under the supervision of a qualified team of professionals. Physical activity trials will include several drills and exercises to identify students with advanced coordination skills and the ability to work in teams. As for artistic skills, a committee headed by the Arts Department will evaluate students' work and their level of basic skills in drawing and artistic knowledge. The goal of these trials is to discover hidden talents among student develop an action plan to enhance and develop them using the latest advanced training methods.
