About the school
Ellesmere Muscat School was established in Al Seeb Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman in 2012 (formerly known as Alruwad School), offering the complete International Baccalaureate (IB) program from kindergarten through grade 12.
The school has witnessed remarkable development over the years, obtaining accreditation from the Government of Alberta, Canada, expanding its scope to include secondary education, and then becoming the first school to offer all three IB programs (PYP – MYP – DP) in Oman.
In 2023, the school entered into a strategic partnership with Ellesmere College British, enhancing its international character. The school provides balanced global education that promotes Omani values and focuses on developing students academically and personally.
