Indian School Al Maabela – known by its abbreviation ISAM – is one of the prominent Indian educational institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, located in the South Al Maabela area in Muscat Governorate. The school was established on April 17, 2010, as one of the schools affiliated with the Indian Schools Board in Oman, with support from the Indian Embassy in the Sultanate. It provides a comprehensive educational experience based on the Indian curriculum (CBSE) from kindergarten (KG) to Grade XII.
Within a few years, the school has managed to establish its position as a leading educational institution serving a wide segment of students, with over 4,500 male and female students, and an academic team comprising more than 170 qualified and experienced teachers and administrators. The school has obtained ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, and is under direct supervision of the Omani Ministry of Education. It is also an active member of the Indian Schools Board in Oman.
