About the school

Rustaq Indian School was established in 1993 to provide school education for Indian nationals residing in the Rustaq area of South Al Batinah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. Non-Indian nationals are also permitted to enroll with approval from the relevant authorities.

The language of instruction at the school is English, with Arabic, Hindi, and Malayalam offered as optional languages. As an Indian school, it follows the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) curriculum of India, while ensuring an international dimension to the teaching and learning process. The school is recognized by the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman and is managed by the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in the Sultanate.
